Recherche références scientifiques en langue anglaise

Vous rédigez actuellement une revue de littérature scientifique portant sur la médiation à mettre en œuvre dans un dispositif documentaire en ligne, destiné à des élèves du secondaire. Vous souhaitez obtenir des pistes pour trouver des références en langue anglaise.

 

Mots-clés

Le travail sur les mots-clés est en effet une première étape qui vous fera gagner du temps sur le reste de votre recherche. Nous vous conseillons d’utiliser peu de mots-clés, quitte à en ajouter par la suite en cas de silence documentaire. Pour vous aider à retenir les bons mots-clés, nous vous proposons de consulter :

  Media literacy

  The ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create messages in a variety of forms (print, audio, film/video, Internet, etc.) based on an informed, critical understanding of the nature of mass media, the techniques used by producers of media, and the impact of those techniques on the individual and society. An interdisciplinary field, media literacy has evolved as a necessary response to the complex, pervasive, ever-changing electronic communication environment of the 21st century. Il existe de nombreux outils que vous pouvez utiliser, dont voici une liste non exhaustive :

• Google scholar : moteur de recherche de publications scientifiques donnant accès soit au texte intégral soit aux métadonnées

• Scinapse : métamoteur académique qui s’appuie sur Microsoft Academic Graph, Springer Nature, Semantic Scholar et PubMed

• Semantic Scholar : moteur de recherche d'articles de revues scientifiques, cherchant à mettre en évidence les liens entre eux

• Worldcat : catalogue collectif international de plus de 10.000 bibliothèques dans le monde.

 

Nous vous conseillons par ailleurs d’interroger les catalogues de grandes bibliothèques anglophones. Exemples :
